PEGylation Reagents

PEG is an abbreviation for Polyethylene Glycol which consists of repeating ethylene oxide units. PEGylation is the process of attachment of PEG chains to molecules and macrostructures, such as a drug, therapeutic protein or vesicle, which is then described as PEGylated. PEGylation is routinely achieved by incubation of a reactive derivative of PEG with the target molecule. The covalent attachment of PEG to a drug or therapeutic protein can protect the agent from the host's immune system (reduced immunogenicity and antigenicity), and prolongs its circulatory time by reducing renal clearance. PEGylation can also provide water solubility to hydrophobic drugs and proteins.

PEGs have been widely used in pharmaceutical and biotech applications such as protein and peptide PEGylation, ADC conjugation, drug delivery, and surface modifications. Unlike traditional PEGs, all of BroadPharm’s PEG Linkers (PEGylation reagents) represent a specific, single chemical structure with high purity. Each product is synthesized and purified using BroadPharm’s proprietary advanced technology and characterized by modern NMR and LC/MS.

BroadPharm offers thousands of PEG Linkers, hundreds of PEGylated Click Chemistry tools and water soluble fluorescent reagents which can empower drug research and development, improve drug solubility and stability, optimize DMPK and discover new drug delivery formats.

Our high-quality PEGylation reagents are water soluble, monodisperse, biocompatible, and almost aggregation-free, making them ideal for bioconjugation or crosslinking of proteins, antibodies, peptides, oligonucleotides, or solid surfaces to other macromolecules, therapeutic compounds or other small molecules, and dyes.

Explore the use of different functional groups of PEG Linkers and Click chemistry approaches. Choose from linear, branched, and heterobifunctional PEGylation reagents with your preferred PEG length - all PEGylation reagents products provided as single-molecular-weight species.
