m-PEG16-acid is a PEG linker containing carboxylic acid and methoxy moieties. The carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the overall compound allowing for the delivery of the drug. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
