Boc-Amine Alkyne-PEG-OH, MW 10,000 has three functional groups, such as boc-protected amine, alkyne, and hydroxyl. The alkyne group is reactive to azide molecule in the presence of copper catalyst via triazole bond formation. The hydroxyl group is used to further derivatize the compound. The boc-protected amine can be hydrolyzed under acidic condition to produce a free amine which is reactive to an activated succinimidyl (NHS) ester. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
