NH2-PLGA(10k)-PEG(1k)-MAL allows formation of micelles when dispersed in water with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) block as core and PEG block as shell. The amino moiety enables reaction with NHS ester via amide bond formation. The maleimide functional group can react with thiol to form a stable thioether linkage. This class of polymer can be used for drug delivery and formulation. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
