PLGA(3k)-mPEG(5k) can form micelles in water which consists of hydrophobic core-forming block poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) and hydrophilic shell-forming PEG block. The core regions can be used as a hydrophobic drugs reservoir. The polymer is biodegradable by hydrolysis on the ester bonds. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
