PLGA(10k)-mPEG(1k) is a block copolymer with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) as the hydrophobic segment and PEG as the hydrophilic segment. The polymer is amphipathic and can self-assemble in aqueous media to form micelles. The polymer can be used to prepare nanoparticles for drug encapsulation in nanomedicine/drug delivery.
