mPEG(5k)-PLGA(10k)-COOH has a hydrophobic block made of poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) tethered to a hydrophilic PEG block. It can self-assemble in aqueous media to form micelles and be used to prepare nanoparticles for drug encapsulation in nanomedicine/drug delivery. The COOH is attached to the PLGA block which is amine reactive, via activation with HATU/EDC, to form a stable amide bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
