PLGA(30k)-PEG(2k)-DBCO

PLGA(30k)-PEG(2k)-DBCO

PLGA(30k)-PEG(2k)-DBCO is a diblock amphiphile polymer which forms micelles upon dispersion in water. The polymeric micelles consists of hydrophobic core-forming block poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) and hydrophilic shell-forming PEG block. It can be used to encapsulate drugs for nanomedicine/drug delivery. The polyester PLGA is biodegradable via hydrolysis on the ester bonds. The DBCO moiety can react with azide molecule to form a stable triazole linkage via Strain Promoted Azided-Alkyne Cycloaddition (SPAAC). Reagent grade, for research purpose.
