PLGA(40k)-PEG(2k)-DBCO is a self-assembling polymer with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) as hydrophobic block and PEG as hydrophilic segment. In water, the polymer forms micelles with PLGA as core and PEG as shell. The core regions can serve as reservoirs for hydrophobic drugs while the shell protects the core from enzymatic/hydrolysis degradation. The terminal DBCO is reactive with azido molecule via triazole linkage formation. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
