PLGA(10k)-PEG(2k)-FOL is a biodegradable amphiphilic block copolymer with hydrophobic poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) and hydrophilic PEG. The folate can strongly bind with folate receptor found in a number of human malignancies including cancers of the ovary, lung, endometrium, kidney, breast, bladder, and brain.
