PLGA(2k)-PEG(2k)-N3 is a block copolymer containing poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) (hydrophobic) and PEG (hydrophilic). Upon dispersion in water, the polymer self-assembles to form micelles with PLGA core and PEG shell. The core can be used as reservoir for hydrophobic drugs while the shell can provide protection from degradation (enzymatic/hydrolysis). The terminal azide is reactive with DBCO/BCN or terminal alkyne in the presence of copper catalyst. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
