PLGA(6k)-PEG(8k)-PLGA(6k) has been widely used to prepare drug loaded nanoparticles for drug delivery or scaffold in tissue engineering. It is an amphiphilic triblock copolymer with a PEG hydrophilic block in between two hydrophobic poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) blocks. The polymer is also biodegradable due to the ester bonds which can be hydrolyzed. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
