PLGA(40K)-PEG(5K)-NHS is an active ester block copolymer for amine coupling in bioconjugation chemistry. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The polymer self-assembles in water with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) being shielded from the water by the PEG. Reagent grade, for research use only.
