HO-PLGA-thiol, MW 5,000 is a poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) linker containing a thiol and a terminal hydroxyl group. The thiol group reacts with maleimide, OPSS, vinylsulfone and transition metal surfaces including gold, silver, etc. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups.
