PDLLA(2K)-PEG(3K)-Maleimide is an amphiphile, a poly(D,L-lactide) (PDLLA), and PEG block copolymer linker containing a hydroxyl group and a terminal maleimide group. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. The maleimide group will react with a thiol group to form a covalent bond.
