t-Boc-N-amido-PEG-amine, MW 2K is a PEG derivative with a t-Boc protecting group and a terminal amine moiety. The t-Boc protecting group can be removed under acidic conditions to form a free amine. The terminal amine can react with carboxylic acids, NHS esters and carbonyl groups. The hydrophilic PEG chain increases the water solubility of the compound.
