ACRL-PCL(10k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a heterobifunctional block copolymer which can react with azide and thiol via Cu click chemistry and thiol-ene reaction, respectively. The polymer contains a hydrophobic biodegradable polyester (polycaprolactone (PCL)) and a hydrophilic PEG. It is a self-assembling polymer where it can form micelles in water and be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs for nanomedicine. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
