PCL(3k)-PEG(1k)-N3 is an azide terminated amphiphile block copolymer. The terminal azide is reactive with alkyne, such as DBCO, BCN, or terminal alkyne (with Cu catalyst), to form a triazole bond. In water, the polymer can form micelles where the core and shell are made of hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) and hydrophilic PEG, respectively. It can be used to prepare drug nanocarrier in drug delivery system. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
