PCL(10k)-PEG(1k)-NH2 is an amine-functionalized block copolymer with polycaprolactone (PCL) as a hydrophobic block and PEG as a hydrophilic block. The polymer is reactive with an NHS ester to form a stable amide bond. In aqueous media, the polymer can self-assemble to form micelles used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs for controlled release drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
