PCL(1k)-PEG(6k)-PCL(1k) consists of hydrophilic PEG block in between hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) blocks. Upon dispersion in water, the polymer can self-assemble to form micelles and can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs. The ester bonds of PCL can degrade via hydrolysis which can be useful for controlled release drug delivery. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
