PCL(8k)-PEG(3k)-PCL(8k) is a triblock copolymer which can self-assemble upon dispersion in water. The micelles formation can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs in the PLA core for sustained drug delivery. The hydroxyl groups can further derivatize the compound. The polymer is biodegradable via hydrolysis of the ester bonds. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
