PLA(2k)-mPEG(2k) is an amphiphilic block copolymer which can self-assemble in aqueous media to form micelles. The hydrophobic part contains racemic of poly(D,L-lactide) while the hydrophilic block contains PEG. The polymer is biodegradable and can be used as vesicles by encapsulating hydrophobic drugs in its hydrophobic regions. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
