PLA(5k)-PEG(3k)-ALK is an azide reactive block copolymer which is biodegradable and amphiphilic. Upon dispersion in water, the self-assemble polymer forms micelles where the PLA (racemic) being shielded from water as core and the PEG block facing the water as shell. The core regions can serve as reservoirs for hydrophobic drugs. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
