PLA(10k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is a click chemistry amphiphilic block copolymer. The hydrophobic block contains racemic of poly(lactide) while the hydrophilic block is made of PEG. The polymer can self-assemble when dispersed in aqueous solution to form micelles which can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic therapeutics in targeted drug delivery system.
