PLA(10k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a biodegradable and self-assemble polymer. In water, the polymer forms micelles with racemic of PLA (hydrophobic block) as core and PEG (hydrophilic block) as shell. The polymer can be used to prepare nanoparticles for drug delivery or nanomedicine. The alkyne terminal is reactive with azide in the presence of Cu catalyst via triazole linkage formation. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
