PLLA(3k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is an alkyne functionalized block copolymer with hydrophobic poly(L-lactide) block and hydrophilic PEG block. Upon dispersion in aqueous soluton, the polymer self-assembles to form micelles where the core and shell are made of PLLA and PEG, respectively. The biodegradable copolymer can be used in drug delivery/nanomedicine to encapsualte hydrophobic therapeutics. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
