PLLA(5k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a homofunctional amphiphilic block copolymer. The polymer can self-assemble in water to form micelles with poly(L-lactide) and PEG as core and shell, respectively. The polymer is reactive with azide in the presence of copper (Cu) catalyst to form a stable triazole linkage. This class of polymer is commonly used to prepare nanoparticles for drug delivery applicaiton. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
