PLLA(10k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is a self-assembling polymer with poly(L-lactide) as hydrophobic block and PEG as hydrophilic segment. In water, the polymer forms micelles with PLLA as core and PEG as shell. The core regions can serve as reservoirs for hydrophobic drugs while the shell protects the core from enzymatic/hydrolysis degradation. The terminal alkyne is reactive with azido molecule via copper catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) to form a stable triazole bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
