PLLA(10k)-PEG(3k)-ALK is a click chemistry amphiphilic block copolymer. The hydrophobic block contains poly(L-lactide) while the hydrophilic block is made of PEG. The polymer can self-assemble when dispersed in aqueous solution to form micelles which can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic therapeutics in targeted drug delivery system.
