PLLA(10k)-PEG(2k)-FOL is an amphiphile block copolymer with poly(L-lactide) hydrophobic block and PEG hydrophilic block. The terminal folate allows specific binding to folic acid receptors which are commonly found on the surface of a broad spectrum of cancer tissue. The polymer can be used to design nanoparticles-based targeted cancer therapy via folate receptor which minimizes nonspecific uptake in normal cells. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
