PLLA(2k)-PEG(1k)-NH2 is a self-assembling block copolymer which is reactive with an active ester (NHS) readily or with a carboxyl (COOH) in the presence of activating agent, such as HATU/EDC, to form a stable amide linkage. The polymer contains a block of hydrophobic poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) and a block of hydrophilic polymer (PEG). The polymer can be used to efficiently encapsulate drugs for in vivo delivery system. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
