PLLA(2k)-PEG(2k)-NH2 is a block copolymer with hydrophobic poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) attached to hydrophilic PEG. In water, the polymer can self-assemble to form micelles with core made of PLLA and shell made of amine-terminated PEG. The core regions can serve as hydrophobic drugs reservoir. The amino moiety can react with an NHS ester readily or with a carboxylic acid in the presence of activating agent (HATU/EDC). Reagent grade, for research purpose.
