PLLA(3k)-PEG(5k)-NHS is an NHS ester functionalized polymer. The succinimidyl ester group can react with an amine to form a stable amide bond. It is biodegradable block copolymer with poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) hydrophobic block tethered to a PEG hydrophilic block. The polymer can self-assemble in water to form micelles which can be used to formulate controlled realease drug delivery system. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
