PLLA(10k)-PEG(1k)-Thiol comprises of two different hydrophobicity blocks, i.e. poly(L-lactide) as a hydrophobic block and PEG as a hydrophilic block. It has thiol moiety which can react with maleimide via thioether bond formation. The polymer can self-assemble in aqueous media and be used as strategies for sustained drug delivery using micellar nanocarriers. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
