PCL-acid, MW 20,000 is a poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) polymer with a terminal carboxylic acid group. PCL are a family of biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyesters. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. HATU) to form a stable amide bond. Reagent grade, for research use only.
