pGlu(15K)-PEG(5K)-pGlu(15K) is an amphiphile block polymer comprised of PEG and synthetic polyamino acid having one COOH group per glutamic acid unit. pGlu is soluble in water(alkaline solution), dichloroacetic acid, chloroform, DMF, dioxane, and acetic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Reagent grade, for research use only.
