BP Light 488 (DyLight 488 Equivalent) is a green fluorophore commonly used in applications such as protein labeling, immunolabeling, fluorescence microscopy, and enzyme immunoassays. The dye has an absorption wavelength that peaks around 493 nm, and an emission maximum around 518 nm. The dye is bright and photostable, and can be used as a substitute for other green fluorophores such as FITC, BP Fluor 488, etc.
