Carboxyrhodamine 110 is the nonsulfonated analog of the BP Fluor 488 dye. The amine-reactive Carboxyrhodamine 110 LC can be used to create bright and photostable green-fluorescent bioconjugates with excitation/emission maxima ~502/527 nm. For many applications, the dye is preferred over carboxyfluorescein or FITC because of its exceptional photostability and fluorescence insensitivity to pH (4-9). This reagent is supplied as Boc protected derivative to ensure compatibility with Fmoc solid phase peptide synthesis. The hydrophilic spacer arm contains a hydrophilic, 4-unit, polyethylene glycol (PEG) group imparts water solubility of the labeled peptide resulting in less aggregation when stored in aqueous solution. Spacers of different lengths are available upon request. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
