PCL(10k)-mPEG(2k) is a diblock amphiphile polymer which forms micelles upon dispersion in water. The polymeric micelles consists of hydrophobic core-forming block polycaprolactone (PCL) and hydrophilic shell-forming PEG block. It can be used to encapsulate drugs for nanomedicine/drug delivery. The polyester PCL is biodegradable via hydrolysis on the ester bonds. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
