PCL(2k)-PEG(3k)-ALK is a homofunctional biodegradable amphiphilic polymer with hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) block and hydrophilic PEG block. The polymer can self assemble in water to form micelles where the core regions (PCL) can encapsulate hydrophobic drugs. The alkyne end group is reactive with azide molecule to form a stable triazole linkage in the presence of Cu catalyst. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
