PCL(3k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a biocompatible and amphiphilic block copolymer which is reactive with azide molecule in the presence of copper catalyst to form a triazole bond. The polymer can form micelles in water where the polycaprolactone (PCL) (at the core) is shielded by the PEG (shell). The biodegradable polymer can be used to encapsulate drugs in nanomedicine or drug delivery system. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
