PCL(4k)-PEG(2k)-ALK is a homofunctional linear block copolymer with both hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) and hydrophilic (PEG) block. The polymer is biodegradable and can self-assemble in water to form micelles. The core region (PCL) of the micelles can serve as reservoir for hydrophobic drugs while the shell (PEG) can protect against enazymatic/hydrolysis degradation. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
