PCL(5k)-PEG(5k)-ALK is a linear homofunctional amphiphilic block copolymer. The polymer can self-assemble in water to form micelles with polycaprolactone (PCL) and PEG as core and shell, respectively. The polymer is reactive with azide in the presence of copper (Cu) catalyst to form a stable triazole linkage. This class of polymer is commonly used to prepare nanoparticles for drug delivery applicaiton. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
