PCL(1k)-PEG(1k)-BIO is an amphiphilic block copolymer (ABC) where the biotin moiety is tethered to the PEG. The biotin can strongly bind to avidin or streptavidin which can be useful for detection of proteins, nucleic acids and lipids as well as protein purification. The polymer forms micelles in water and can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
