PCL(4k)-PEG(1k)-SPDP is a biodegradable amphiphilic polymer. The polymer can self-assemble in water due to different hydrophilicity of its blocks, the polycaprolactone (PCL) hydrophobic block being shielded by the hydrophilic PEG. The terminal SPDP enables reaction with thiol molecule to form disulfide bond. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
