PLGA(10k)-PEG(2k)-N3 is a linear amphiphilic polymer with PEG as a hydrophilic block and poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) as a hydrophobic one. The polymer can form micelles when dispersed in water with the PEG facing the water (shell) and PLGA being shielded from the water (core). The terminal alkyne can react with various alkyne moieties, such as DBCO, BCN, or terminal alkyne to form a stable triazole bond. The PLGA core can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs in nanomedicine/targeted delivery application. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
