Fluorne Rhodamine Picolyl Azide is a fluorescent probe with a picolyl moiety and a terminal azide group. The picolyl moiety assists with a copper-chelating system within its structure, lowering the amount of copper catalyst required in the CuAAC reaction. The fluorescent molecule is a water-soluble, pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10, far-red-fluorescent probe that is excitated at 631 nm and 651 nm. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage and as an azide-copper complex. The reaction works well under diluted conditions.
