Fmoc-N-Amido-C4-Azide-PEG-acid, MW 5,000 is an Fmoc-protected amine PEGylation compound which is reactive with an acitvated succinimidyl ester to form an amide bond. The Fmoc group can be deprotected under basic condition to obtain the free amine which can be used for further conjugations. The compound can be reacted with terminal alkyne or DBCO/BCN via CuAAC or SPAAC respectively to form a triazole ring. The carboxylic acid moiety can be used for bioconjugation with amine in the presence of activating agent, such as HATU or EDC. Reagent grade, for research use only.
