PC Mal-PEG4-OH functions as a photocleavable PEG linker including a maleimide moiety which is thiol-reactive between pH 6.5 to 7.5. The PEG4 spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the compound and assists in fine-tuning DMPK properties.
