BP Fluor 488 tyramide is a water-soluble green fluorescent dye used in tyramide signal amplification (TSA) for enhancing fluorescence in immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, and fluorescence in situ hybridization. TSA relies on horseradish peroxidase (HRP) to convert tyramine-containing substrates into highly reactive radicals that covalently bind to nearby proteins. BP Fluor 488 tyramide can be used with any HRP-conjugated molecules to stain cells and tissues in immunofluorescence assays.
BP Fluor 488 tyramide is comparable to Alexa Fluor 488 tyramide. Alexa Fluor is registered trademarks of Thermo Fisher Scientific.
